yet another ghost from the past.... Does the smell of diesel fuel conjure up scary images of old times?

I recently found your site - you've been busy, eh? Do you entertain Gaijin visitors? We should chat sometime soon....

It took me a while to figure out how to make this computer write in Chinese (at the end of the last message) and it didn't even come out! Crap! I'm going to sleep...

Did you write messages 41-43? Are you Ok? Just checked out your blog. Interesting - the way you have the pictures on there is cool. Everything looked even better in Japanese, although I couldn't read it. Special Bonus - the photos were different! Neato! I like the Eng & Jap ones for June 3rd... or maybe that's March 6th - It looks like you started using the name of the month later for the Americans. Thanks! E

Hi, Michael! Thank you for your email.
When did you make a Guest Book? I didn't know.
Yeah... I was wondering what happened to your website. Spam mail?! That's so scary!

How's your RENAISSANCE going? I read some replies from friendly lonely horny girls. ;)
Those messages were so interesting. Every message looks similar but it has some key words in each to hit on you, such as "entertain you" or "physical fun".

Stay nice! Keep your snake in a cage!

Mm! Like the new piece very much...great story. Do listen to KEXP over the net? I just started to, and the show that starts 6am Seattle time is good, and you can always catch Riz in the afternoon. Did I tell you I met him last year? Not hard when he's all over the city, I guess. Later!

Hi Mike,

Just checking up on you. Sorry to have missed you in Tokyo while I was there, but there will be other opportunites I suppose. Would love, someday, to hear your ideas on how web technology could be incorporated into Japanese language education.

Be well.

Jim

Every once in a while I like to check up on you and see how you are doing in Japan. Just read the one dated 7-5-01, the day before my birthday, called Funk. Did not like the way it made me feel. I hope you are doing better now. I suppose you have some comments on your site soon regarding our recent terrorist attack. Again hope your are doing well

Dare me to recommend some music, eh? Tell me you're posting my inane questions on your site, eh? Fail to congratulate my hard-won battle to produce a dominant Y chromosone? That, sir, is simply reprehensible....probably spending all of your free time down at MILK, aren't you.

Inside the fishbowl is where you can do what you cannot do from outside the fishbowl. Existence is one big piece of wobbling jelly. Yes and No mean the same thing. Don't be in a hurry unless you are walking at 7 kilometers an hour: then you have may have some real reason. I gave my brother and my sister all my brains and kept instinct. Don't try and explain relationships. Blue is a nice colour. Wind over water is just fine for me. I try not to think. Nothing better than a good long bath to make everything simpler. When everyone goes left, go right. Clouds and birds and butterflies tell you which way the wind will blow. Every one knows the grass is not really greener on the other side of the fence: it's the jumping that's the point. Never stop moving. I like my hands and my feet. I make a wicked salad. I walk at 7 kilometers an hour. Hot water showers are a modern luxury. Eyeballs look the same from any angle. Wearing a white golfing hat while you are driving prevents car accidents. Cuddles are free upon demand. Always walk downwind of where you are heading. Pick your lawyer by the crimes they have commtted themselves. I like my bedrooms yellow. Hate is a bad word. De-caffinated coffee is pointless. Nothing better than a good binge. Air-conditioning and wrist watches are not healthy for you. It is possible to recite the alphabet in a single burp. The 10th letter is J.

thanks for the account of haruki murakami in the U.S. I wonder if you know yourself, or if you could point me to, any more details about Norwegian Wood. It sounds as though he has come to dislike it. If that's so, then lucky me. That's the only murakami i've read so far, so its bound to get better. good luck at bridge -- to bad they didn't use your talents to make the software easier to intuitively understand! d
