The video files here are in ASF format and therefore require Windows Media Player for playback. Right-click on the movie to see a list of options, or simply left-click once to Play or Pause the video stream.
The ratings are offered as simple time-saving devices, where anything above 3.0 is to be considered Not Completely Worthless and anything below is... well, you get the idea.

This short video includes video footage and photos from my own New Years Eve in Tokyo, 2001. New Years is the most significant "religious" event annually in Japan, and that's why much of the content is based on trips to temples and what-not for Hatsu-mode, or the first temple visit of the year.
