O-shougatsu
(New Years)
2001, Tokyo

This short video includes video footage and photos from my own New Years Eve in Tokyo, 2001. New Years is the most significant "religious" event annually in Japan, and that's why much of the content is based on trips to temples and what-not for Hatsu-mode, or the first temple visit of the year.

The broadband (LAN, DSL, etc.) version is embedded below, or you can open it in your media player by clicking on the link. A low-bandwidth (56K) version of the same video is also available here. For modem connections I recommend you right-click on this link and save the video for local, offline viewing (Filesize: 6.0MB). [Rating: 3.5]

Tokyo Walker

"Tokyo Walker" is a local events and entertainment guide catering to the Japanese-capable market. I chose the name simply because almost all of the footage was captured as I walked Tokyo's streets on a handful of nights during a recent business trip. [Rating: 3.5]

Halogen Orange: The Video

This was a promotional video I put together for Seattle band Halogen Orange, three great guys for whom the music matters. Lots o' cameos by good friends in Seattle. [Rating: 3.0]

Remebering Ann Arbor

This video is a brief chronicle of a short trip to Ann Arbor to visit my brother and his girlfriend. I had only just bought my video camera, and was eager to put it to use. Predictable, the quality is mediocre at best. [Rating: 2.0]

LinuxWorld Japan

This contains footage of LinuxWorld Japan 1998 and some rather low-quality narative from yours truly. [Rating: 1.5]
